The G-26 Kamagata-Usuba features a white steel #3 core blade. The magnolia wood handle is ornamented with a water buffalo horn bolster, making this an elegant work of functional art. The kamagata-usuba from the Osaka region is a vegetable knife with a single-bevel edge makes super thin slices and can cut chunks of denser vegetables without splitting them. The severe downward angular tip sets it apart from other vegetable knives for fine, delicate work.
